Situation:
The position profile provided by the Managing Director and the outgoing Finance & Administration Director called for a virtual clone of the incumbent.
Challenge:
The challenge came in convincing the client that a clone would not suffice but rather that the competitive landscape required that they shore up finances, organization and controls to maintain and grow their market opportunities.
Methodology/Solution:
The consultants of Key Search People conducted a comprehensive analysis of the company’s growth over the past 3 years and overlaid the objectives of the new Managing Director as well as the commercial activity of their other subsidiaries. This led to a recommendation that the subsidiary needed a more financial, organization & controlling oriented Director, externalizing accounting, acting as 2nd. on board.

An exhaustive search resulted in a roster of qualified candidates being identified and the ultimate hire of a candidate that met all of the criteria of the revised profile.
